مردی 56 ساله به کلینیک جراحی پلاستیک ما مراجعه کرد زیرا متوجه توده‌ای بدون درد در گوش چپ خود شد که حدود یک سال به‌صورت کندی رشد می‌کرد. در طول معاینه، برجستگی تیره‌رنگی به اندازهٔ ۲.۵ × ۲.۰ سانتی‌متر در گوش چپ او یافت شد که به داخل کانال گوش کشیده شده بود. هیچ غدهٔ لنفاوی متورمی در نزدیکی مشاهده نشد. برای بررسی احتمال سرطانی بودن آن، نمونهٔ کوچکی از توده برای آزمایش برداشت شد. نتایج نشان داد که seborrheic keratosis بود.
A 56-year-old man presented to our outpatient plastic surgery clinic with a 1-year history of a slow-growing, painless mass in his left auricle. In the physical examination, we observed a 2.5 × 2.0 cm blackish papillomatous lesion within the left cavum concha, extending into the external auditory canal. There was no palpable enlargement of the regional lymph nodes. An incisional biopsy was performed to rule out a malignant skin tumor, and the histopathological examination revealed seborrheic keratosis.
